INTAKE

DURATION · 3 MIN PREREQ · NONE

Check-in. Comms verification. Attendance logged. Every applicant is issued a callsign and assigned to an element for the duration of the pipeline.

OBJECTIVES

  • Confirm microphone and comms channel
  • Issue callsign — logged to the training ledger
  • Assign applicant to a fireteam for all stages
  • Brief on rules of engagement and pipeline flow
OUTPUT RECRUIT — CLEARED FOR ASSESSMENT
⌂ GATE · 01 → 02 COMPLETE COMMS CHECK
STAGE 02 02

ASSESSMENT

DURATION · 10 MIN PREREQ · S.01

Baseline evaluation. Instructors observe each applicant's existing skill — movement, weapons handling, situational awareness — with no instruction given. The purpose is calibration, not gatekeeping.

EVALUATED

  • Movement discipline — spacing, cover, sectors
  • Weapons handling — safety, control, target acquisition
  • Situational awareness — callouts, threat ID, PID
  • Communication — clarity, brevity, relay
  • Team coordination — follows leadership, supports element
OUTPUT BASELINE ON FILE — READY FOR COMBAT DRILLS
⌂ GATE · 02 → 03 BASELINE RECORDED
STAGE 03 03

COMBAT DRILLS

DURATION · 10 MIN PREREQ · S.02

Live-fire drills. Applicants execute under pressure — react to contact, fire and maneuver, break contact, hold a position. Instructors inject friction: no script, no rehearsals, no second takes.

DRILLS

  • React to Contact — return fire, get to cover, call it up
  • Fire & Maneuver — bound under fire as a fireteam
  • Break Contact — controlled withdrawal, no abandonment
  • Suppression — cover a moving element, displace on call
  • Casualty Handling — care under fire, recovery, treatment
OUTPUT COMBAT CERTIFIED — CLEARED FOR SPECIALIZATION
⌂ GATE · 03 → 04 ELEMENT LEADER SIGN-OFF
STAGE 04 04

SPECIALIZATION

DURATION · 15 MIN PREREQ · S.03 MANDATORY

Every ASE Operator specializes. Applicants pick one role, drill it with an instructor, and demonstrate baseline competence before graduation. No rifleman-only path — the unit needs specialists on the line.
